Today I was delighted to attend Glenna's Christmas Coffee Party. Glenna is a very special lady to me and is my "Island Mom." She has been hosting this event every year for about 20 years! There was food, conversation, and the main event-a Christmas mug exchange. Apparently, some of the women who have been attending this event for years have their mugs bought months in advance. No wonder! All the mugs were really quite lovely!
Mitch helped Sid (Glenna's husband) park the ladies' cars and then they went over to Steve's house (Glenna's Son-in-law). The best part of the day was when Glenna was saying farewell to everyone. She explained that the boys had the cars all nicely parked so the ladies could easily exit. Then Glenna's mom said, "I want that young man to pick me up in my car again!" Too funny!
